
Toss the chicken breast with paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper to season it well.
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Sear the chicken for 4–5 minutes on each side until browned, then remove from the skillet.
In the same pan, add chicken broth and heavy cream. Stir in cream cheese and parmesan if using, and let it simmer for 3–4 minutes.
Return the chicken to the pan, combining it with the sauce. Simmer for another 3–5 minutes until the sauce is thick and creamy.
Sprinkle chopped parsley over the chicken and serve with crispy French fries on the side.
